Fastcase for the iPhone/iPad is a legal research application that provides access to a comprehensive library of American cases and statutes. With this free app, users can search for information by citation, keyword (using Boolean or natural language), or browse through statute collections.

The iPhone version of Fastcase has been recognized with the prestigious American Association of Law Libraries New Product of the Year Award. The iPad app includes additional features that make use of the larger screen area. Users can view search results in a side panel while reading a document, enjoy portrait or landscape views, and access multiple levels of statute outline views.

The Fastcase for iPhone/iPad app incorporates smart search technology from Fastcase's fully-featured web-based legal research application. This enables users to prioritize the most relevant results at the top of the list, customize and re-sort search results, and integrate citation analysis tools directly into the results.

To utilize all features of the application, users will need to register an account. This allows for saving favorites and customized search history. There are numerous customizable features that adapt as users become more familiar with the Fastcase app.
